Morning-after look has been pushed in New York
Fans of natural makeup who want to stay 'on-trend' this spring/summer season may have an easier time of it thanks to the latest trend to come off the New York catwalks.
Designers such as Zac Posen and Marc Jacobs have opted to give their models a morning-after look which is based around natural beauty and not too much effort.
Vogue UK stated: "The reference was a young woman who has gone on a night out with perfect makeup and woken up with it looking less that perfect but still incredibly beautiful in its lived-in status."
The beauty magazine added that Marc Jacobs had specifically tried to capture a more 'real mood' than in previous years and focus on natural beauty.
Makeup artist Guido Palau recently said that there has been a move away from pristine looking models on the catwalks in recent months.
