Natural beauty 'ideal look for over 40s'
Ladies who are getting older will need to change their look from their younger days and one expert advises they opt for a natural beauty look.
Tammy Gibson, author of A Mom in Red High Heels, said that makeup needs for women over 40 will change and they should ditch "all that glitters" in favour of a natural beauty look.
She said that matte lipstick should be replaced with a richer gloss, which offers shine and a more subtle colour.
Thick, black eyeliner is a no-no for ladies wanting the natural beauty look, with Ms Gibson suggesting people get gray, brown, beige or soft plum liners.
She summed it up by saying: "Keeping makeup natural, soft and luminous is a brilliant way to shed years from your face. Embrace the change and go shopping for some great new beauty products."
Older people should also consider natural skin care products after celebrity makeup artist Lina Hanson told TreeHugger.com that they can have a huge impact on people's skin.
