Natural beauty: Makeup tips given by Mad Men honcho
Fans of natural beauty could be interested in the latest tips from a makeup artist who has worked on the critically acclaimed US TV series Mad Men.
Lana Horochowski, head of the makeup department on the set of the HBO show, told MTV how she manages to create the distinctively understated looks for some of the show's actresses.
Speaking about the Peggy Olsen character, played by Elisabeth Moss, she said: "Since the key to Peggy's look is to appear as though she is wearing no makeup, a great foundation is super important."
Ms Moss added that a natural lip and cheek stain is also applied to her makeup in order to add some colour.
In related news, reality TV star Kim Kardashian will be sharing her natural beauty tips with the readers of OK! Magazine after she signed a deal with the publication to pen a cosmetic column.
