Natural beauty: Partying hard is the new in look
Fans of natural skin care could opt to follow one of the hottest new trends fresh off the catwalks and apply their makeup in a way which makes it look like they have been up all night.
Tom Pecheux, makeup artist for designer Alexander Wang, told the New York Times that messy makeup is in at the moment and he prefers models to have a lived-in look rather than anything too pristine.
"I would rather my girls look like they had just left the club than like they were leaving a beauty salon," the designer said after his Pier 94 show.
The styles worn by models were a mix of grunge and tomboy, according to the newspaper, which said they can be achieved using widely available makeup.
In other news, the Sun stated that metallic makeup is going to make its way from the catwalk to the high street this year and said that flawless skin and matted hair are key parts of the style.
