Natural beauty: Pouts stand out at the Oscars
The Oscars gave some big-name film stars the chance to show off their pouts on the red carpet, according to one website, which spoke to one of the industry's most-respected makeup artists.
Robin Fredriksz, who worked on stars such as Cameron Diaz, told StyleList.com that the red-carpet pouts stole the show at this year's awards, with winners like Sandra Bullock opting for pink lips.
"I wanted her to look like the true movie star she is, so we went with modern classy Hollywood - dewy skin, soft eyes and a bold classic red lip," he said, speaking about Diaz's pout.
The makeup artist added that Diaz's look was based around Veronica Lake's regal style.
In other natural skin care news, a recent survey by Clothes Show Live found that Women will spend 72 hours shopping, 96 hours getting in shape and 23 hours beautifying themselves during the Christmas period before hitting the dancefloors.
