Natural hair care: Being prepared will sustain your look
People who want to retain their hairdos and clear complexions during the Christmas party season should make sure they carry a good comb and not overdo their natural makeup, according to two experts.
Fashion designer Andrew Gallimore and makeup artist Lyndell Mansfield told the Sunday Times Style magazine their top tips for the festive season, which included making the most of natural assets.
Gallimore told the publication: "Women often wear much more makeup than usual during the party season, but don't look better for it. Emphasise your strongest feature and pare down the rest."
Lyndell Mansfield added that women should resist primping and preening their hair as this can destroy a look and instead they should use a good comb.
Stylist magazine's Emma Smith recently said that women can find that the winter months make creating interesting looks harder and a real challenge, which could mean people invest in new natural skin care products.
