Natural lipstick: Concealer can help lock in colour
People who want long-lasting natural lipstick should combine the product with others, according to one expert who said using two or more cosmetic items can help lock in colour.
Tasmeta Mistry, makeup artist for Benefit, said that starting with the lip liner and moving outwards is an easy way to create an interesting style.
"I also put lip liner in the middle of the lips too. Colour it in with a light coloured pencil - that way your gloss or stain stays on a lot longer," the expert stated.
She added that putting gloss on top of lipstick and blotting with a tissue before reapplying gloss can create a stunning look.
A recent survey by Clothes Show Live found that women will spend 72 hours shopping, 96 hours getting in shape and 23 hours beautifying themselves during the Christmas period before hitting the dancefloors.
