Natural makeup 'becoming increasingly popular'
People are increasingly focusing on natural makeup as part of a shift towards mineral-based products, an expert asserts.
Aine Sweeney, freelance makeup artist, claims that this is one of the areas which most strongly shows the overall move towards this type of cosmetic.
She highlights the importance of women working on their base, saying this helps cement the overall look.
"Try and get a really perfect base because, with that, all your other makeup will come together," she asserts.
In addition, Ms Sweeney stresses the importance of taking a minimal approach, as by using the correct items this can work just as effectively.
Among the key looks she identifies are dramatic eyes, bronzed skin and flawless skin achieved through the use of a natural foundation.
She has also predicted that the rock-chick look will remain a consistent trend throughout the year, claiming it will not go out of fashion in the near future.
