Natural makeup can be hard to pull off
Women who want to achieve a convincing natural look with their makeup can sometimes face a difficult task, according to one expert, who said that it can be the hardest of all styles to pull off.
The Huffington Post's beauty expert Napoleon Perdis told the blog that it is a "beauty paradox" when women find it hard to complete looks which appear as organic as possible.
He stated: "The key pointers are: applying a primer before your foundation; knowing the shades of blush and lipstick that suit your coloring best; and matching your base perfectly to your complexion."
The expert added that a touch of bronzer can help to lighten up any nude look, which may interest fans of natural makeup.
Women may want to use Nicole Kidman as an example of what not to do when applying their products, after the A-Lister appeared on the red carpet with a less-than-perfect complexion recently.
