Natural makeup can leave you fresh-faced, without sleep
It's not just sleep that can leave you fresh-faced, according to an expert – follow these handy natural makeup tips this winter and you can look bright-eyed and bushy-tailed, even the morning after the office party.
Celebrity makeup artist Arian Poole said that people who struggle to get a good eight hours sleep can cheat their way into looking fresh and raring to go the next morning.
Natural concealer "with more than one shade in the compact" is a must, in order to banish those bags under the eyes, she explained.
Next, a "soft ivory" natural eye shadow will brighten your look, combined with a navy natural eye liner and heated lash curlers, which will give the impression of wide-open peepers.
For a healthy glow and complexion, sweep natural blusher across your cheeks and add a slick of tinted lip balm to fool them all.
According to research from the Karolinska Institute in Stockholm, published in the British Medical Journal (BMJ), sleep-deprived people were perceived as less attractive and less healthy than those who snoozed through the night.
