Natural makeup: Cotton candy pink is a versatile colour
Fans of natural makeup who want to try out a new hue could give cotton candy pink a go, according to one magazine, which said that the colour is being used in all areas.
Stylist magazine reported on the trend which is seeing big name designers like Dior use pink blusher instead of bronzer to sculpt model's faces on the winter catwalks.
"Great on everything from lips and nails to cheeks and eyes, take your pick from a whole host of hues; from sumptuous marshmallow to candy cane pink, there's a shade for every occasion," it stated.
The magazine added that there is a plethora of options open to fans of natural makeup who want to try out the pink shades.
Elle UK's Melissa Dick recently said that designer John Galliano created a 1920s inspired collection for autumn 2009 and sent his models out onto the catwalks sporting pencilled eyebrows and dark, dramatic lips.
