Natural makeup could be influenced by the 60s this spring
Hair and natural makeup trends change each season, according to one expert, who said that this year 60s looks are going to come back in vogue.
Eric Fisher, owner of Eric Fisher Salons, said that texture, volume and movement will be three big considerations for fashionistas trying to keep up with the coolest looks this spring and summer.
"Old-fashioned wedges, cable curls, soft and glamorous hair is back. Looking back even further, think of old movies, old Hollywood, French twists. We'll be doing a lot of back-combing for height," he said.
The expert added that he is not surprised by the sudden interest in 60s styles because of the influx of floral prints and pastels on the catwalks this spring.
Amy Boyd, a professional makeup artist and graduate of School of Make-Up, recently said that the gothic look is now en vogue and women could opt for darker eyes to complete the style.
