Natural makeup in vintage colours 'back in fashion'
If you're looking for the next natural makeup trend to follow, how about trying vintage colours?
Beryl Barnard, director of education for The London School of Beauty and Makeup, said that different shades are popular during different seasons, with burgundies and vamp reds being big in winter.
She said that at the moment fuchsia and coral, two shades that are almost vintage, are on trend, even though they used to be seen as shades only used by the over 75s.
"But [they have] become 'in' colours, so fashion does dictate somewhat. So now we have got the soft prettier corals, more fuchsia, Barbie pinks."
The beauty guru also said that the trend for vintage makeup has also been inspired by Amy Winehouse's premature death.
She also said that winter will see ladies looking to imitate Winehouse's vintage eyeliner.
The star was often seen sporting winged eyeliner, which she created with lashings of the product.
