Natural makeup: Looking fabulous at 50
For fans of natural makeup approaching the big 5-0 the thought of getting older and still looking fabulous can be daunting, but one publication believes it is possible to retain good looks.
FocusOnStyle.com reported that stars like Sharon Stone, Michelle Pfeiffer and Andie MacDowell all look fabulous at 50, but also gave some tips for mere mortals who want to emulate the actresses.
"One of the most important changes that occur as we get older is the skin's texture. It's a great idea at any age to exfoliate dead skin cells and keep your skin glowing. Always moisturise afterward," it stated.
The website added that foundation should be applied lightly and sparingly so that it matches people's natural skin tone.
Amy Boyd, a professional makeup artist and graduate of School of Make-Up, recently said that the gothic look is now in vogue and women could opt for darker eyes to complete the style.
