Natural makeup 'must be carefully chosen for the downplayed look'
The downplayed look is very big this season and it is important that organic and natural makeup products such as blusher are chosen carefully, a commentator asserts.
Hello! magazine advises women to use soft pink for paler skin, while bringing out peachy hues for yellow skin tones. For those with dark skins, a biscuity colour could be used, it suggests.
It claims: "A pale frosty shade of shadow swept lightly over the lids lightens and brightens the eye area without looking too made-up."
The magazine warns women to pay attention to their eyebrows, as there is no vivid lip or eye natural makeup to hold people's attention straggly hair in this region could lead people to believe no effort has been made, rather than that this has been a deliberate choice.
Linda Meredith, beauty guru, recently told the Times that it is better to remove natural makeup immediately rather than waiting for before bed. This will ensure it is taken off thoroughly when the woman is awake, rather than running the risk of being too tired to do the job effectively.
