Natural makeup palettes 'ideal for everyday emergencies'
The festive season brings with it the inevitable string of parties, after-work drinks and last-minute dinner invites – and with it, the dreaded natural makeup emergency.
Natural cosmetics fans can be prepared for everything by investing in a compact palette which contains everything to move seamlessly from day to night, Stylist reported.
Look for a compact which includes a mirror and space for a brush and natural eye liner, as well as a range of colours for mouths, cheeks and eyes.
A good palette should include a light lip colour for day and something darker for a more sophisticated evening look, while a selection of smoky shadows, combined with a refreshing highlighter shade, will allow you to dial up the drama for your last-minute soiree.
Kristin Booker, writing for Hollywood Life, echoed the importance of handy natural makeup solutions, adding that the autumn nude trend can be copied by selecting a palette with a bronzer, natural blusher and all-over highlighter hue.
