Natural makeup: Preparation is key for flawless face
Fans of natural makeup should take the time to properly prepare their skin before applying any products, according to one expert, who said this will ensure the best results are seen.
Linda Brown, professional makeup artist, said that adding primer is the crucial first step which will set up the rest of the regime and help cover up any blemishes.
"If you want your makeup to last you definitely have to prime your skin. First of all apply primer, once you've cleansed and moisturised, to keep the moisture in and keep the right balance," she said.
The expert added that once primer has been applied women should put on their foundation and this will help to achieve a flawless look.
Clothes Show Live recently claimed that women take longer putting on natural makeup and getting ready for their Christmas do than for any other special event during the year.
