Natural makeup: Sculpted look is back again
Fans of natural makeup should opt for a sculpted look if they want to remain 'on trend' this spring/summer season, according to one expert, who said it will be one of the biggest looks.
Makeup expert Terry Barber said that the super-sculpted style has started to make a comeback in recent months and references the 80s New Romantics era.
"I was really into the New Romantics in the 80s, where girls looked like beautiful boys and vice versa. There's a touch of cold ice-queen, too. Erasing features is a big trend this season ... and something we saw on catwalks," he stated.
The expert added that labels such as Preen, Missoni and Alberta Ferretti all used the look at their shows earlier in the season.
In other news, Monica Bellucci, Sophie Marceau and Eva Herzigova recently appeared on the cover of French Elle with little or no makeup as the trio showed their support for natural beauty.
