Natural makeup shades 'are muted'
Some natural makeup fans will no doubt be tired of the bold shades that took summer by storm, and many will be glad to hear that autumn's on-trend must-haves are much more sedate and sexy.
Multi-toned eyes are a chic style that is simple yet elegant, and is perfect for a calmer autumn where you can experiment with flattering gold hues, and according to Stylist, the more muted palette is a recurring trend for autumn.
Ladies are advised to sample the sultry natural eye shadow hues of mushroom, coffee, bronze, amber and gold, which, teamed with lived-in lashes, is the perfect Bardot style.
Jamie Coombes, national make-up artist for Dior, told the news source that such muted shades add colour and depth and recommended building up layers on a bronze base, with brown in the sockets and gold in the inner corners.
"Finish with a contouring sweep of blush in dark peach or bronze and a coffee-coloured lipstick patted on," he added, referring to the latest trend of 'kissed-off' lips.
