Natural makeup: Sweet summer eye can be achieved easily
Fans of natural makeup can recreate the big catwalk looks easily, according to one newspaper, which reported that the fashion world is returning to traditional feminine styles.
The Daily Telegraph stated that at shows like Christian Dior, looks first made popular by actresses like Lauren Bacall, such as red lips and over-one-eye hair, were popular.
"Unashamedly feminine, the form showed a joyous return to colour in makeup: proper lip and eye paint, sorely missing for so long, possible because the loud lips are tempered by the soft eye pastels," it reported.
The newspaper added that fans of natural makeup should wear sherbet colours with brown or grey coloured mascara, but never black.
Fans of natural makeup should opt for a sculpted look if they want to remain 'on trend' this spring/summer season, according to makeup expert Terry Barber, who said it will be one of the biggest looks.
