Natural makeup trend: Neon yellow nails
Bright-coloured nail varnish is a top natural makeup trend for the coming season, with a host of celebrities showcasing the look in recent weeks.
Look magazine highlighted style-savvy Katy Perry's choice of yellow nail varnish as she stepped out at Coachella festival this weekend.
The Firework singer looked on trend as ever, with Wayfarer-style sunglasses and scarlet-red natural lipstick.
Chanel led the pack with the introduction of brights and neons in their nail varnish options, with a Mimosa hue, inspiring a host of other brands to following suit.
To sculpt your nails in the hottest shades of the season, make sure your hands are manicured, with the nails short and square and the colour bright and bold.
Katy isn't the only celeb to grab the trend with both hands, as Alexa Chung, Leona Lewis, Rihanna and Fearne Cotton have struck the right style notes with hot coloured nail varnish of late.
Last week, Xandria Carelse of the Lost in Vintage fair suggested that the love affair with bygone eras is set to continue, making vintage natural eye liner a technique to embrace.
