Natural makeup: Twilight takes over our makeup bag
Twilight has become somewhat of a phenomenon, but who would have ever thought we would embrace the vampire-esque look when it comes to our natural makeup?
Hot on the heels of stars such as Taylor Momsen, who is well known for her grungy style, Laura McCreddie, managing editor of Professional Beauty, has explained that this dark lipped-look is here to stay.
"I think, at the moment, we are all still obsessed with vampires," she asserted.
"The Twilight phenomenon continues and I think you are still going to see a lot of people working ... pale skin, dark eyes [and a] dark mouth."
However, if the pale-skinned look isn't working with your natural makeup, Ms McCreddie did add that other prominent autumn/winter styles include Chanel's red lips (as seen on Alexa Chung) and Pat McGrath's brown and purple eyes.
If you particularly like Pat McGrath's natural makeup musings, her most recent show included Geisha streaks across the eyes in red, purple and orange, which she called "super modern" and "super powerful".
