Natural makeup: Use a lighter foundation for autumn
Posted by Shannon Davies
Those looking for the best natural makeup products should take a look at lighter foundations this season, an expert has advised.
Karen Loraine, founder of The Makeup Box, has claimed that what one looks for in natural makeup products changes according to the season and that the autumn calls for something less heavy in terms of a base layer.
She said that it is important that foundations look natural and are durable enough to last throughout the day as the weather begins to turn colder.
"As your summer tan begins to fade, adjust your foundation base a shade or two lighter," she advised.
Ms Loraine suggested that those looking for a change could try substituting their bronzer for a rose blusher, as this can help give the sun a glow that is highly suitable for the winter.
Another key trend that may appeal to natural makeup fans is to sport a naked face other than red lips, a look shown off at the Chanel Couture show, Grazia has reported.
