Natural makeup: Using contours can hide imperfections
Fans of natural makeup who want to enhance the appearance of their face without going under the knife should use creative shading to hide any imperfections, according to one newspaper.
The Sun reported that using shading in an intelligent way can shave years off a woman's appearance and give a complexion new life.
"Blending light and shade, you can create an illusion of depth and shape. Shading narrows and deflects attention from prominent features while highlighting softens and accentuates them," it stated.
The publication added that problems such as a saggy chin or a large nose can be made more subtle with well thought out shading and application of natural makeup.
Dolce and Gabbana makeup artist Pat McGrath recently told the Irish Independent that using a brush is the best way to achieve a flawless finish when applying foundation.
