Natural makeup will be influenced by 60s
Fans of natural makeup are likely to be influenced by 60s style if they are following the latest fashion trends, according to one expert, who said that the look was all over London Fashion Week.
Petros Petrohilos, who did the makeup for the Sass & Bide show at London Fashion Week, told MyFashionLife.com that natural looking skin will be complemented by classic 60s looks this spring season.
"Spring/summer 2010 sees makeup take a step away from the 80s influence we have seen over the past few seasons and instead take on a softer, fresher approach with more of a nod to the 60s with beautiful pastels, nude tone lips and lashings of mascara," he stated.
The expert added that the new look means lots of mascara, brown eyeshadow and nude lips will be seen.
Makeup artist Jemma Kidd recently took the Daily Telegraph around her home and showed off her bedroom furniture, which included dressing tables where she applies her makeup.
