Natural makeup with added minerals 'offers long-term benefits'
Does your makeup bag strain at the seams after you've piled your beauty essentials in? Well, this could be a thing of the past if you switch to natural makeup with added minerals.
Beauty commentator Claire Coleman wrote in the Daily Mail that the traditional approach to natural skin care, with a range of products to treat your skin's health and a separate collection of things to make you look pretty, could be a thing of the past.
Some mineral makeup could help with conditions such as acne, fine wrinkles and dry skin, Ms Coleman said.
She explained: "[Mineral makeup] containing ingredients such as zinc oxide and titanium dioxide (the compounds used in sunscreens) ... offers consumers foundation that won't block pores and comes with built-in sPF."
There are even wonder products which promise to make "your skin appear younger each time you use it", Ms Coleman added.
Last week, Babita Naraynan told readers of the Hindu that treating your skin in the right way for its type was an essential part of a natural skin care routine.
