Natural mascara can enhance a look
Katy Perry's makeup artist has spoken about the importance of buying good mascara, saying that using the product in the right way can enhance a look.
Celebrity makeup guru, Jake Bailey, told Chic Gloss that using natural mascara can help to give the eyes maximum impact without taking away elegance or sophistication.
"I was going for a more colourful version of the tradition smoky eye. The best thing about this mascara is that you can apply coat after coat to get maximum impact without losing separation and elegance," he said.
The artist helped Katy Perry stand out at the Grammy Awards, where she sported a Bollywood-influenced outfit that was inspired by Indian cinema and Bettie Page.
US singing sensation Jordin Sparks recently recommended using two layers of mascara when she gave some of her natural beauty tips, saying it creates a powerful look.
