Natural nails are all the rage this autumn
As the Christmas season approaches fans of organic skin care are choosing to opt for natural looking nails when sprucing themselves up for the yuletide party season, according to one expert.
Belinda Price, salon owner and OPI nails educator, said that there is a growing trend for women to invest in natural nail treatments because there is an increasingly impressive range of options open to them.
She said: "Trends are leaning towards natural nails this season. Polish ranges have been revolutionised this year with introductions of matte and suede finish lacquers."
The expert added that nail art is also on the rise and some women are opting to go for fake tans in order to have summery skin this winter.
ASDA recently released a report which showed that sales of fake eyelashes are up 50 per cent for the year to date and sales of fake tan have also risen 28 per cent.
