Natural skin care: Nicole Richie is back sporting a stripped-down look
Former star of the reality TV show The Simple Life and long-time friend of Paris Hilton, Nicole Richie, has returned to the spotlight with a look which makes the most of her natural beauty.
Buzznet.com reported on the hippie chic style which Richie has embraced and she has followed the example of Gossip Girl star Leighton Mester, who has also pulled off the natural boho look.
It stated: "In this day and age 'natural' does not mean without makeup. Nicole has her share of cosmetics on."
The website's ScarletMadeline Makeup Mastermind feature looked at the hippie chic style and gave fans of natural beauty tips on how to achieve it themselves.
These included making sure eyebrows are neat and using a combination of taupe, light grey or dark grey eye shadow.
Fans of natural skin care who want to use less products should try and attain a tan, according to the-dish.co.uk, which stated that women with a healthy-looking complexion are less likely to use lots of chemical-based cosmetics.
