Natural skin care: Plastic surgery can create more problems
Fans of natural skin care should be careful when going in for cosmetic surgery, according to one expert, who said the process could actually create more problems for them.
Douglas McGeorge, past president of the British Association of Aesthetic Plastic Surgeons, said that if surgery is used for the right reasons it can help people, but if it is handled incorrectly, things can go wrong.
"If you didn't have a problem with something to start with, or it's only a little problem, the treatment may actually end up giving you more problems than you had at the beginning," he stated.
The expert added that the problem is heightened during the festive period, as more people carry out the unnecessary surgery because they have the cost of treatment covered by loved ones.
Using natural beauty products can help women to achieve looks which are usually seen on catwalks without using chemical-based cosmetics, according to celebrity makeup artist Christy Coleman.
