Natural skin care: Regimes must remove impurities
Fans of natural beauty who want to get the most out of their cosmetics need to have a regime which can cleanse, tone, moisturise and exfoliate their skin, according to one expert.
Beauty specialist Stella Gray told the Jamaican Observer that ensuring a natural beauty regime contains the four stages will improve it drastically and added that avoiding chemical-based products is important.
She told the newspaper: "Care should be taken when using an astringent as alcohol will irritate some skins and have a drying effect. Additionally, with prolonged use, astringents may strip the skin's natural immune barrier."
The beauty expert explained that performing a skin care routine twice a day is important and said cleansing is an essential part of a regime because it rids the countenance of imperfections and sweat.
Sandra Bullock recently told InStyle magazine that she only takes eight minutes to get ready in the morning, adding that face cream and mascara are essential parts of her routine, which could interest fans of natural beauty.
