Nineties minimalism is big natural makeup trend
Less will really be more in the spring and summer season, according to one magazine, which predicts that 90s minimalism will become a major trend in the coming six months.
Vogue reported that during London and New York fashion weeks, the minimalist style has been seen all over the catwalks and on the faces of the models, who have been done up without too much makeup.
"Having heard it [90s minimalism] referenced no less than 21 times backstage during New York and now London as it draws to a close, we're predicting it will be the key beauty aesthetic for next autumn/winter," it stated.
The newspaper added that designers, such as Erdem, Osman and Antonio Beradi, used little or no mascara to push a semblance of androgyny on their models.
In other news, the London Evening Standard reported on looks such as supernude skin, which has been all over the designers' shows in the capital.
