Nude and Pop Art are the hottest lips
Fans of natural skin care who want to have the most en vogue pouts should adopt either the toned-down nude look or the more outspoken Pop Art style, according to one publication.
Stylist magazine focused on the most on-trend lips and said that both styles are easy to attain by being brave and taking the plunge.
Dick Page, makeup artist for fashion designer Marc Jacobs, told the magazine that the nude look can create an understated sensuality but care must be taken while it is applied as it can appear too ghostly.
Celebrity makeup artist Alex Box added: "Makeup washes off! Wear the shade you're most afraid of and take the plunge."
The magazine stated that the pop art look has been worn by people like Deborah Harry and Madonna over the years and is a staple that can be used to great effect.
Red lips look set to become a big trend for autumn and winter this year with other Hollywood stars such as Sienna Miller and Scarlett Johansson sporting the striking look while making public appearances recently.
