Orange lips are coming into fashion
Fans of natural makeup should consider using orangey lipstick, according to one expert, who said the hue will become one of the most sought-after shades this spring.
Celebrity hair stylist Tony Masciangelo told the Vancouver Sun that orange and red lipsticks are set to continue their domination of the makeup world as we head into the warmer months.
"Orangey, red lips are big. It's one of those colours that looks lovely with a tan or with pale skin. Mary Kay lip nectar in mango is really nice. It's a sheer orangey-red, a little bit glossy and it's user friendly," he stated.
The expert added that pink will be a popular colour in spring, with cheeks and lips being the areas where the hue will be applied.
Researchers at Unilever found that women with big smackers have a more youthful appearance than those with thin lips, reinforcing the images of beauty associated with Marilyn Monroe and Scarlett Johansson.
