Perk up your natural makeup look for Christmas Day
With just a few sleeps left until Christmas Day, some people may already be feeling a little bit partied out – but just follow these natural makeup suggestions and you'll be fresh-faced for your festivities.
Makeup artist Alice Theobald told Daily Mail readers that there are some handy tips to remember when trying to achieve a fresh-faced, bright-eyed look.
Firstly, always remember to use a good natural moisturiser before applying any base. Natural foundation should be applied using a brush, Ms Theobald advised, in order to obtain a smooth finish.
Next, turn your attention to your eyes. "Another of Alice's tricks is sculpting eyebrows with a subtle arch that helps to open up the eye and give the face an instant lift," the newspaper reported.
Use a beige natural eye shadow for the whole eye area, then add a taupe colour to the socket and a darker shade to the outside corners for a smoky, sultry look.
A lick of natural lip balm and you're good to go!
Yesterday, celebrity makeup artist Ariane Poole said that multi-shade natural concealer is a must to banish bags and blemishes.
