Pixie Lott: Natural beauty is 'best'
One of the UK's leading female singers has spoken to one newspaper about the importance of natural makeup and not feeling inadequate because of the airbrushed images found in magazines.
Pixie Lott told the Sun that some women can take the altered images as "gospel" and this can lead to feelings of inadequacy, which she said is not right.
The 18-year-old star gave the advice when speaking about her natural beauty regime, which consists of using coconut oil in the bath and keeping her skin as hydrated as possible.
"I use coconut oil in my bath to keep my skin soft and silky, and in summer months after exfoliating it helps preserve my tan," the singer explained.
She also advised women to apply foundation before working on their eyes because eye shadow can run and ruin a look.
Halle Berry recently said that she likes to keep herself looking as natural as possible because she feels "odd" when caked in too much makeup.
