Red lips are 'an essential' for Christina Aguilera
Pop diva Christina Aguilera has spoken about her love of combining red lipstick and black mascara as she strives for a classic Hollywood look.
Fans of natural skin care could be interested in the singer's comments, as she advised women who are keen to experiment with scarlet to use the colour sparsely at first, perhaps on their nails or lips.
Aguilera told Heat magazine: "It soon becomes one of those colours you can't live without. I always love red lips, no matter what."
The 28-year-old singer added that wearing outfits which contain red has also become a fashion staple for her.
In addition, she recommended that women should follow a simple natural beauty regime to look their best.
Red lips look set to become a big trend for autumn and winter this year with other Hollywood stars such as Sienna Miller and Scarlett Johansson sporting the striking look while making public appearances recently.
