Red lips 'are still hot natural beauty trend'
Fans of natural makeup looking for a big spring look can still depend upon the red lips which were so popular during the winter, according to one website.
WFAA.com reported that the crimson look is going to continue to be popular in the spring alongside the nude lip, while on the eyes minimal mascara will be in demand.
"One of the great ways to wear that red lipstick a little more casual is to apply it over a lip balm," Chris Mayes, of Nordstrom, told the website.
Holly Qatari, a Galleria Dallas fashion stylist, also told the website that blues, greens and purples all work with the smoky eye look, which will also be popular in spring.
Red lips became a big trend in autumn and winter last year, with Hollywood stars such as Sienna Miller and Scarlett Johansson sporting the striking look while making public appearances.
