Red lipstick is a must-have natural beauty product for Valentine's
Ladies wanting to embrace their romance side this Valentine's Day should don some natural beauty products, such as red lipstick.
Makeup guru Lisa Eldridge told the Metro newspaper that there are many elements ladies need to consider when buying the natural beauty product, such as the texture and the exact shade.
Glossy lipsticks will need lots of reapplication but give a gentler look, while matte products are likely to stay put for longer.
Among her tips for applying the natural beauty products are to buff lips with balm first, which will exfoliate and hydrate them.
To get an even base concealer should be added next, while a lip brush should be used to apply the actual lipstick. Ms Eldridge told the newspaper that brushing on gently will work the product into the lip and avoid it rubbing off.
Lastly, ladies should blot off any excess and make sure that the edges of the lips do not look too sharp.
Those adopting this look for February 14th will be following in the footsteps of celebrity greats like Gwen Stefani and Christina Aguilera, who are fans of red lipstick.
