Skin care 'is the secret of a perfect face'
Concentrating more on your skin and less on your makeup is the key to achieving a flawless face, according to one expert.
Italian makeup artist Juliet Stewart told the Journal News about her mantra and philosophy on maintaining natural beauty through great skin care, saying: "All the makeup in the world will not do justice to you, or to the products, if the skin is not properly maintained."
People interested in natural skin care may be interested in her comments as she added that the most important part of anyone's face care regime is to use an exfoliator to remove dead skin cells and an effective moisturiser to rehydrate it.
The makeup artist mantra is that if you take good care of your skin, you will need less makeup to achieve the look you desire.
In other skin care news, the Daily Mail reported that the amended European Union regulations on how effective sunscreens have to be could affect fans of natural skin care products as they promote the use of chemicals in products.
