Smoky natural eye shadow is a beauty failsafe
Sometimes deciding what makeup to wear with an outfit can be as difficult as selecting the perfect shoes – but smoky natural eye shadow is a go-to style that will never go out of fashion.
Denise Baptiste told One India that all women should learn how to recreate the sultry, sophisticated look, which can add drama and definition to any face.
Ms Baptiste said that women should choose complementary dark and light shades of shadow, as well as a striking natural eye liner to really frame those peepers.
Use a dark tint along the lash line on the upper lid before adding liner, to the edge of the upper, and apply a light base across the eye to the brow bone.
With the base and eye line added, sweep a striking brown, black or on-trend colour such as rich berry purple across the lid, and blend the seams between the layers.
Ms Bapiste advised: "Blend the eye shadow gently and make sure to smudge the colour into the lash line so that the eye liner disappears."
Yesterday, Stylist told natural cosmetics fans that makeup palettes are an ideal way to move from day to night looks during the party season.
