Sophie Ellis-Bextor uses dramatic eye makeup
Fans of natural skin care could take inspiration from one of the UK's most well-loved pop singers after she celebrated her 31st birthday wearing some disco-inspired eye makeup.
The Daily Mail reported that Sophie Ellis-Bextor wore shimmering blue and orange makeup at her birthday shindig and let her eyes do the talking to the assembled paparazzi.
"Arriving at London's famous Groucho club celebration last night, Sophie hid her blue dress under a knee-length coat, but seemed more than happy to point out her stunning makeup," it stated.
The newspaper added that the Murder on the Dancefloor singer decided to co-ordinate her eyes with her shoes, which could provide fans of natural makeup with some ideas.
Fans of natural skin care who want to create a smokey look for their eyes need to ensure they use a makeup brush as well as their natural beauty products when aiming to attain the style, according to Amy Boyd, professional makeup artist and graduate of School of Make-Up.
