Star embraces natural look at Golden Globes
One of Hollywood's rising stars has impressed on the red carpet recently with her subtle natural makeup and cropped hair, according to one newspaper.
Carey Mulligan, starred in An Education and was a nominee at the recent Golden Globe Awards, where she impressed the LA Times as she posed for pictures.
Mulligan's makeup artist Gregory Arlt told the newspaper: "I envisioned this English rose being swept in from the country side to the Golden Globes ... there's no need for smoke and mirrors with her. It's just pure, effortless beauty."
The artist added that he created a look which would appear to be very natural and make it difficult to see where things started and stopped on Ms Mulligan's face.
In other news, the Daily Mirror recently said that Colleen Rooney also prefers the natural look and has been championing real women who are fans of natural beauty.
