Statement lips are big trend
Fans of natural lipstick who want to follow the latest trend need to make sure they create a look which includes statement lips, according to one magazine, which said they can help women to appear younger.
Stylist magazine said that bold, red lips and pouts are the in-thing and are being seen all over the smackers of big name celebrities, such as Something About Mary star Cameron Diaz.
"Statement lips are big news right now and at the recent Golden Globes awards, pouts were red and glossy. Blonde bombshells Cameron Diaz and Mad Men's January Jones were especially working this look," it stated.
The Golden Globes also saw a wide range of celebrities wearing stand-out dresses, including New York hipster Chloe Sevigny, who wore an ethereal floor-length gown.
Red lips have become a big trend for winter, with Hollywood stars such as Sienna Miller and Scarlett Johansson sporting the striking look while making public appearances recently.
