Strictly makeup expert reveals natural beauty secrets
The head natural makeup artist for the BBC's Strictly Come Dancing has revealed how she makes the celebrity dancers look pristine on the hit show.
Lisa Armstrong told the Daily Mirror that because the show is broadcast on a high definition channel it is even more important to keep the stars looking flawless.
"On the show I might work them right up to the brow bone for a dramatic look but, if you want to keep it wearable, just sweep the colour across your eyelids and build up the layers to get the intensity you want," she said.
Other tips she gave included working foundation into skin by using the fingers because this warms the face up and gets blood circulating.
Pat McGrath recently gave Allure her top trends to emerge from the Milan catwalks and said that Dolce & Gabbana have opted to style their models with less than perfect makeup.
