Summer ball preparations 'should include natural makeup'
Those preparing for a summer ball should ensure they use natural makeup in order to reduce their carbon footprint, it has been claimed.
Fox2Now advises that this is a key way to go green, helping both the environment and the user's skin.
It suggests that showing support for these products through purchasing them will encourage more companies to produce items of this type, helping to change the culture at these organisations.
"Buying more earth-friendly products helps bring on change at the corporate level - if they know there's a market, more companies will get on board to treat the planet better," it asserts.
The website also recommends checking that hair care products do not contain substances such as CFCs, due to their effect on the ozone layer.
Kristen Davis, star of Sex and the City, recently told allure.com that natural beauty is her top makeup priority, highlighting the importance of sunscreen.
