Take your natural beauty tips from the French
Women should be taking their natural beauty tips from the French in order to look their best, according to a commentator.
An article in the New York Times explains that a lot can be learnt from Frenchwomen, from their diets to their natural beauty staples.
"Frenchwomen are more elegant, more aware of their femininity," Dr Michel Soussaline told the news provider, a Paris plastic surgeon. "They simply take care of themselves better."
One of the first suggestions is to ditch the heavyweight makeup, which accentuates wrinkles and pores but to opt for blush, mascara and lip colour instead, focusing on quality not quantity.
Other additions that should be made to your regime includes a cold-water rinse which improves circulation and (here's the good part) Frenchwomen shun exercise, but go to the spa instead, something which many will take delight in adding to their schedules.
According to the Hospital de Pontevedra in Santiago de Compostela, which is currently running studies on the Mediterranean diet; this includes lots of fish, vegetables, fruit, nuts and grains with minimal milk.
