Tips for office party makeup
Ladies who have little time to reapply their natural makeup before heading straight to the Christmas party from the office, may want to take note of one expert's tips.
Founder of beautybets.com Elizabeth Dehn described in an article for the Minneapolis Star Tribune a number of simple ways to transform a look from day to night.
She recommended using blotting papers to remove shine from the face rather than removing existing products and starting again.
The next step is to use liquid highlighter to create a radiant effect and applying a touch of bronzer was also suggested.
To rejuvenate hair, Ms Dehn advised using dry shampoo at the roots, which will soak up oil and add volume.
Finally, smudging a dark charcoal eyeshadow along the top and bottom lash lines will help create a simple smoky eye, while a lick of red lipstick can "take you from office drab to soiree fab in seconds".
Makeup artist James Kaliardos recently recommended avoiding glittery products and instead channelling old school glamour this festive season.
