Trend alert: 'Bespoke' natural mascara
Natural mascara has long been seen as one of the most important beauty essentials, but natural makeup fans have an ever-expanding range of options when it comes to picking their products.
Stylist reported that it's no longer a case of picking up whatever is in the bottom of your cosmetic bag to decorate your peepers – now there are a range of tailor-made choices, depending on the effect you want to achieve.
The writer explained: "Mascara isn't what it used to be. Where once a simple swipe of black across the lashes would suffice, a raft of new forward-thinking mascaras is hitting beauty counters, allowing you to design your own style-specific lash look."
As well taking advantage of the innovations in application brushes, natural cosmetics fans might want to consider plumping for a different colour of lashwear to spice up their makeup collection.
Last week, Zara Rabinowicz, editor of Kiss & Makeup, said that this spring's big trend will be "playful and brighter" makeup, with more "paint box-style applications".
