Trend alert: Pastel natural eye shadow is big for spring
Pastel natural eye shadow will be adorning the faces of the most stylish ladies in town, if the spring/summer catwalk shows are anything to go by.
Style gurus have long been talking about the importance of colour in both fashion and beauty for this season, but women who are looking for some more inspiration have been advised that softer shades could be the way to go.
According to Elle, a host of runway shows, including Osman Yousefzada, Narciso Rodriguez, Alberta Ferretti, Preen and Etro, used delicate palettes that remained rich in their hues.
Canary yellows and corals were dampened with white shadow, while ice blue, apple green and lavender where daubed around the eye but had a more gentle appearance that shocking neons and bold primaries.
If you want to get some catwalk style, keep your complexion pale, with just a hint of natural blusher and let the colour on your lids really sing out.
